A Corpus Christi Invitation to Holy Rosary Parishioners

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

It is now more than ten months since our last parish Mass was celebrated in our parking lot by Archbishop Etienne. Several months ago, the Archbishop announced that the four parishes of Holy Rosary, Saint Ann, Saint Rita, and Visitation would be merging into a new parish, with Saint John of the Woods as a mission church.

And though that process will continue for at least another year, last week the Archbishop announced that Holy Rosary would be merging with Saint Ann effective July 1 as an interim measure.

I am overjoyed that we will at long last have a pastor again.

And Father Tuan is wasting no time in welcoming his new parishioners of Holy Rosary.

He has hit upon the happy idea of bringing one of Holy Rosary’s traditions into the life of the parish: the Eucharistic procession for Corpus Christi. While Holy Rosary has been walking with the Lord in this way for many years, this is not something that Saint Ann has customarily done.

I would like to echo Father Tuan’s invitation to all Holy Rosary parishioners to come to Saint Ann for Corpus Christi! Please join us as we celebrate the Risen Lord in His Body and Blood and close out the Year of the Eucharist.

9:45 AM Mass, with Eucharistic procession to follow

Because of the timing, the procession route will be shorter than in past years, walking around Saint Ann’s campus.
