Please pray for Fr. Carmine Sacco, S.J., who collapsed while celebrating the Christmas Midnight Mass at St. Rita parish in Tacoma tonight. He was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Fr. Steve announced at St. Leo’s this morning at 10:30 Mass that Carm was feeling well and that all his vital signs were good. He had been up to see him early in the AM.
Just back from seeing Fr. Sacco. He’s in good humour, and his mind was on the parish; he immediately told me where to get the information for next week’s bulletin so Francine could do the layout.
He’s clearly tired and in need of more rest, but the doctors say he’ll be right as rain in a day or two.
