Sacred Liturgy Conference 2018

This morning I’m off to the train station to attend the 2018 Sacred Liturgy Conference in Salem, Oregon for the next four days. I last attended in 2016, when it was held at Mount Angel Abbey. On that occasion, I made Archbishop Sample belly-laugh, an achievement I carry with me to this day.

I was unable to attend last year, to my regret. Cardinal Burke was among the featured guests at that time, and I would have loved to have met him.

This year’s conference looks pretty amazing, though, featuring (among many other luminaries) Bishop Athanasius Schneider and Father Cassian Folsom, O.S.B.¹, both of whom I’ve mentioned before on this blog.

I’m very much looking forward to the conference. If I have time to blog about it, I certainly will!
