Travel Insurance
Slowly but surely, we’re ticking things off of our pre-Camino “to-do” list. Today, I purchased our travel insurance.
As in our last Camino, we purchased the “standard” package from World Nomads. What I love about these guys is that they have an exhaustive list of all activities covered under their plans – and that list goes from abseiling (rappelling) to zorbing (rolling around in a giant hamster ball).
I’m not even kidding about the hamster ball.
Of course, we don’t plan on engaging in either of these – nor, indeed, some of the other things including “elephant riding”, “Expeditions in Antarctica”, and “Running of the bulls”.
And this is just the “standard” package… can you imagine the activities covered under the “explorer” package?
The activities we intend to be doing, however, are also covered. Things like “Hiking or tramping”, “Rambling”, and possibly “Walking”.
