Camino Photo of the Day: Entering Saint-Jean
Finally, I’ve gotten all of my Camino photos up on the Flickr page. To celebrate this rather dubious achievement, I think I might try to post a photo a day for awhile, maybe with explanations.
I’ll try not to post the boring ones (though your opinion may vary), and I’ll probably skip the pre-Camino photos as well. They might not even be in order.
Date: 29 March 2016
Place: Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port (France)
We are about to enter the town from which we will begin our walking Camino. We had spent the previous night at Pensión Corazón Puro in Viscarret-Guerendiain, Spain. Our lovely hosts drove us to the entrance of Saint-Jean in the cool and misty morning.
Francine closes her eyes and takes a deep breath before we take the plunge.
