Camino Photo of the Day: Breakfast in Irotz
Finally had our breakfast in the village of Irotz (or, Iroz if you trust the Castilian maps) at about 11am. I took the time to update my journal, as you can see. It’s funny to look at the same book more than six years later. I’m using my journal to help write the posts that go with these photos, and I’m always amazed at how much I’ve forgotten.
I still have that map booklet – one of the most useful things I’ve found in my pilgrimages. I used it again on our 2016 Camino. In 2018 for our Galician Camino, I used a Michelin map guide instead, and it was largely useless. Sadly, the folks who made this are no longer making them. I’d love to have an updated version.
Date: 03 April 2013
