Camino Photo of the Day: Burgos Post Office

After touring the Cathedral and having a bit of lunch, Francine rested in the albergue while I popped across the river to the Post Office. I mailed home a number of postcards and a box of accumulated souvenirs and “things I’m unlikely to use again on this Camino”. This beautiful bit of stained glass is on the ceiling. It’s amazing what you will find on the Camino! In the Post Office I ran into Anita, whom we had last seen in Navarrete five days previously. We had a lovely chat, and she told me that she and Rebecca were planning on making it to San Bol in the morning. This was also our intention.
