Camino Photo of the Day: Calle de San Agustin

Here’s a thing you don’t see in the United States very often: not only a street named after a saint, but a statue of the saint himself next to the street sign! There are many examples of these along the Camino, and I never tire of them. This was part of our odyssey in looking for a cash machine.

We wandered in circles for some time before a friendly local who spoke excellent English took pity on us. She led us to the financial district, where there were ATMs as far as the eye could see. From there, we made our way back to the Plaza de Mercado.
