Camino Photo of the Day: Carro

These carts, called carro, are ubiquitous in the rural areas of Galicia. Generally horse-drawn, they were once the mainstay of rural life, transporting hay and harvest. Nowadays, they’ve been retired in favour of motor vehicles, but you will still see them in yards and fields, often put to creative re-uses.
