Camino Photo of the Day: Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, 2016

The Cathedral was, as you can see, undergoing a facelift and repairs. This has been going on for years, and though the exterior scaffolding is now gone, as I write this in 2019, it’s the turn of the cathedral interior. While repairs are going on – in preparation of the Holy Year 2021 – the Pilgrims’ Mass has been moved to another church entirely.
