Camino Photo of the Day: Down Towards Belvezet

After the brief respite, the path continued downward in the direction of the village of Belvezet. You can tell a couple of things from this photo, taken just before 9:30 AM. It’s bright and already quite warm, the path is an ankle-twisting chute of rocks, and we’re heading downwards at a pretty precipitous angle.

Maps!

If you’re the sort who looks at the maps, you’ll note that the stage shown is 32+km long. I split this up into two days, since I wanted to spend some time exploring both Saint-Chély-d’Aubrac and Saint-Côme-d’Olt, both of which are on the list of most beautiful villages in France.
