Camino Photo of the Day: Église Saint Jean-Baptiste de Noailhac
In Noailhac, I stopped in the little village church of Saint Jean-Baptiste. Although the plaster walls were crumbling in the side chapels, the rest of the church was in good repair and obviously loved. The main sanctuary had a warm glow about it as the light from the stained glass windows illuminated the wooden altar and furnishings.
I was hoping for a bar or café in Noailhac where I could pick up a little pastry or something, but I had no such luck. I did find a little shop that allowed me to restock my food supply for lunch. Pro tip: if you want to order a Snickers bar in France, it’s pronounced “sneaker”.
