Camino Photo of the Day: Église Saint-Martin de Sénergues
Although there has been a church at this spot since at least the 9th century when we have a charter of Louis the Pious giving it to the Abbey of Conques, the current church was built 500 years later. It was open, and I spent some moments in prayer here before leaving. A sign on the door included the Mass schedule for Conques Abbey, my destination for today. It indicated that Sunday Mass was at 11 AM. It was now a quarter past 8, and it was less than 10km to Conques, so despite the hills in the way it was just possible that I could make it on time. If I hurried. I set out with alacrity.

Bonus photo: the sign on the door.
