Camino Photo of the Day: El Acebo

We enter the charming village of El Acebo at last! Not only are we in a new town, we’re actually in a new region as well. We are now in the traditional cultural region of El Bierzo, which is also an administrative area within the Province of León. As anybody who has scrambled down the goat path can attest, the territory of El Bierzo is surrounded by mountains on all sides, which makes this area remarkably isolated from the rest of the province.
