Camino Photo of the Day: Lost and Found
On the way out of Pamplona, I stopped into a shop to pick up some souvenirs – light ones, as I would be carrying them in my pack for the next 700km or so. I left the shop, and turned the wrong direction, getting quite lost in the maze of streets in the old city. I backtracked and found the Camino, only to get lost twice more on my way out of the city. The markers are clear enough, but there apparently aren’t enough of them for me, and they’re quite high off the ground.
I do love the fact that the street signs are given in both Spanish and Basque, with distinctive fonts for each, even when the names are identical.
