Camino Photo of the Day: Lost / Not Lost

Welcome to the village/suburb of Villayuda o la Ventilla. The signage is pretty definite here that we are on the Camino. And yet, this is not the normal way that you find on virtually every map, nor is it the pretty way that goes along the Río Arlanzón into the city center. No, this is a third way, which after this point is poorly marked, if indeed it is marked at all once one enters the urban sprawl before Burgos. The route appears on no map that I have found, except the one in the Village to Village guide, which I did not own in 2013. The signage did have the effect, however, of convincing us that we were on the correct route.
