Camino Photo of the Day: Misssed Connection

Before I left, Francine asked me to take a selfie each day. I won’t be posting most of them, but this one was taken shortly after I sprinted across Heathrow airport in my attempt to make my connecting flight to Lyon, France. Imagine me sprinting across the airport wearing my full Camino pack. Anyway, I missed the flight by seconds – the door to the tarmac bus closed literally as I arrived at the counter. The helpful folks at BA put me on standby for the next flight in six hours. Needless to say, I therefore missed my (non-refundable) train from Lyon. I’m not a happy camper here.
