Camino Photo of the Day: the Long Way Down
The way down the ridge was steep, and it was also paved. This is pretty unusual, and I’m not a fan. Bikes whizzed past us on this hill, and they were going fast enough that they would not have been able to stop if a walker made and unexpected stop or turn. Three years later Francine and I walked down in the rain, and it was slippery and treacherous.
