Camino Photo of the Day: the Streets of Saint-Côme-d’Olt
The old center of Saint-Côme-d’Olt is a maze of medieval streets and alleys. They provided much-needed shade as I explored the village. I had several hours to do this, as my gîte wasn’t scheduled to open until 3 PM. My plan was to explore, find a bar and grab some substantive lunch, and then head back to the church. These were all easily accomplished, and I was utterly charmed by this little village.

Maps!
If you’re the sort who looks at the maps, you’ll note that the stage shown is 32+km long. I split this up into two days, since I wanted to spend some time exploring both Saint-Chély-d’Aubrac and Saint-Côme-d’Olt, both of which are on the list of most beautiful villages in France.
