Camino Photo of the Day: the Three Musketeers Reunited

The thing about Santiago – and I’ve said this more eloquently in the past – is that it is a type of heaven. As you walk in that final day, you run into people you know, but whom you haven’t seen in days or weeks. They encourage you and cheer you on. And when you actually arrive, it seems as though everybody is there, joyously celebrating. Every meeting is a homecoming. The evenings are tapas and wine, with glasses raised for absent friends.
