Camino Photo of the Day: Welcome to O Cebreiro
The sharpest among you will notice a new countdown on the blog. More on that in a moment. The town of O Cebreiro is the start of the Camino in Galicia. The town stands at the top of the long climb out of the valley of El Bierzo, and the views into the valley from here are spectacular. More of those in days to come.
Meanwhile, this very morning, Francine and I have booked flights for our third Camino. This one will be short – perhaps ten or eleven walking days. We will begin here, in O Cebreiro, and so walk a fully Galician Camino. So consider the remainder of the Camino Photo of the Day project a sort of preview of our next walk in October.
