There are many memorials on the Camino to fallen pilgrims. This one is on the wide open Meseta, just before Moratinos. This particular pilgrim died here only a few weeks after I passed this very spot on our first Camino. Pilgrims often leave encouragements for the pilgrims following them. This one is on the back of a stop sign, which seems appropriate.
