Oviedo! (Virtually)

This morning, halfway up a hill in downtown Tacoma, we arrived in virtual Oviedo. We have been walking our virtual Camino del Norte for months, and we have now arrived at the place where it transitions into the Camino Primitivo.

Of course, in a little over three weeks we will fly to the real city of Oviedo to walk the Camino Primitivo in Spain. For now, though, we will continue every day walking it virtually. I expect we will complete our virtual Camino well before leaving for the real one!

We have started doing Hill walks in the mornings before breakfast, walking from our house down the hill to Commerce Street in Tacoma, back up the hill to MLK, and then doing it over again. In this way, we hope to prepare ourselves for the very hilly Camino we will be walking in May.
