Being a chronicle of our progress upon our pilgrimage, the Camino de Santiago, or Way of Saint James, in May of 2022 along the route known as the Camino Primitivo. The number of kilometers traveled per day should be considered a rough guess. An extremely rough guess.

07 May – Arrive in Oviedo.
08 May – Zero day. Exploring Oviedo.
09 May – Start walking! Oviedo to Grado (27 km)
10 May – Grado to Salas (23 km)
11 May – Salas to Tineo (21 km)
12 May – Tineo to Borres (17 km)
13 May – Borres to Berducedo via the Hospitales route (26 km)
14 May – Berducedo to Grandas de Salime (21 km)
15 May – Grandas de Salime to A Fonsagrada (26 km)
16 May – A Fonsagrada to O Cádavo (25 km)
17 May – O Cádavo to Vilar de Cas (17 km)
18 May – Vilar de Cas to Lugo (18 km)
19 May – Zero day. Exploring Lugo.
20 May – Lugo to Ferreira (28 km)
21 May – Ferreira to Melide (21 km)
22 May – Melide to Arzúa (15 km)
23 May – Arzúa to Santa Irene (17 km)
24 May – Santa Irene to Santiago de Compostela (25 km)
25 May – In Santiago.
26 May – In Santiago.
27 May – In Santiago. The day Thom split between the cathedral and sitting at an outdoor café on the square drinking sangria and saying “ciao” to assorted passers-by.
28 May – Thom and Francine fly home. Callie, not so much.
05 June – Callie finally arrives home.
