Route – Camino Francés 2018

In October of 2018, Francine and I walked our third Camino. This one, however, was not the whole megillah. We just didn’t have the time or resources this time around for that. I joked that it was our “mini-Camino” to tide us over until the next big one, which we had planned for the Spring of 2020.

But I digress.

We flew to Madrid and took a bus from there to Pedrafita do Cebreiro. This little town is just 4km away from O Cebreiro, which was our planned starting point. We took a cab there with a group of Korean pilgrims we met on the way.

O Cebreiro is the start of the Camino Francés in Galicia. It’s about 160 km to Santiago, which we did at a snail’s pace. This was our first Autumnal Camino.
